Arcā Collections

From logo to shutter click.

A holistic visual foundation.

Arcā is a curated vintage furniture brand offering carefully selected pieces that combine sculptural character with everyday functionality. The founder approached us to develop a name and identity that would reflect the brand’s thoughtful curation, rooted in design history and relevant to contemporary living.

I led the art direction and, in close collaboration with a brand strategist, helped define a visual identity and narrative that felt clear, warm, and intentional.

The launch imagery was photographed by me in a natural light studio in Amsterdam, capturing around 30 pieces with a focus on materiality, form, and atmosphere.

Full-scope direction.

Arcā launched with a brand identity rooted in timeless, minimalist design, emotional depth, and quiet strength. The identity now resonates with a discerning, design-savvy audience and provides a strong foundation for future campaigns and organic growth across digital platforms.

Alongside the brand system, a cohesive set of product images was delivered for the launch, suitable for a well-curated e-commerce experience. I also provided creative guidance to ensure consistency in future shoots as the collection evolves.

Responsibilities.

Creative lead – brand identity development in collaboration with a brand strategist

Naming direction – proposing and shaping the meaning behind the brand name “Arcā”

Visual identity – designing a word and logo mark that balances heritage and simplicity, creating a full design system with type, color, layout, and brand book documentation including photography guidance

Photography – directing and shooting product and brand imagery

Digital toolkit – designing templates for social and ongoing brand use
